Mark Weller is a committed public servant who stands on principle and experience. His commitment to the city of Longwood, its residents and businesses is unquestioned. His work experience and his ability to understand tough, often complicated issues make him my choice for the Longwood City Commission.

Serving in public office is never easy. While Mark and I may not agree on every issue that comes before us, I know he is always interested first and foremost in doing what he thinks is right for our city. I fully endorse Mark Weller for re-election to the Longwood City Commission.

Mayor Joe Durso - City of Longwood

TO: Mr. Mark Weller, Candidate for Commissioner, District 4, City of Longwood, Florida

It gives me great pleasure to formally announce my endorsement of Mr. Mark Weller who is making his campaign bid for reelection as a candidate for Commissioner, City of Longwood District 4.

I choose Mr. Mark Weller over those less experienced candidates as my candidate of choice who not only represents the residents who reside within District 4 but as a candidate who will represent all the residents of the City of Longwood, Florida. Over the past three years I have had the opportunity to carefully observe and to work with Mark while serving as Commissioner for District 4, Mark has proven his abilities and strong leadership and professionalism that he has what it takes to get the job done and has always put the residents of #Longwood first by striving to reduce the City Operational Expenditures and by staying within the budget constraints to ensure the lowest cost benefits to the city taxpayers.

Mr. Mark Weller in three short years has acquired a great deal of experience and knowledge dealing with many local, county and state representatives and one who has gained the highest respect from the general public as well as many other governmental officials.

Mark is a longtime Seminole County and City of Longwood resident, who graduated from Lake Brantley High School and after a brief tour of duty in the United States Army serving as an Engineer from 1977 to 1980 Mark returned to Seminole County where he attended Seminole State College of Florida. Mark lives with his wife, Lisa, in a modest home along with their 3 children in the Longwood Green sub-division. Mark and Lisa have been married for 28 years and they are very active, well liked and highly respected in their community.

What I most admire about Mr. Mark Weller is his high respect and admiration for our local #Veterans and military service members serving both on active and retired duty. Mark was highly instrumental in organizing and bringing to the City of Longwood “The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall" ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/607435762738459/ ) in 2016. Mr. Mark Weller served on the Charter Review Board and is a business owner who owns Weller Infrared Services, Inc.. Mr. Mark Weller is exactly the type of City Commissioner who will help bring the City of Longwood to new heights in business development and brings to the City Commission his no nonsense business leadership qualities that not only encourages business growth but will also be a strong and positive force in creating new jobs locally.

With proud enthusiasm, I strongly support Mr. Mark Weller for Re-Election to represent District 4, the City of Longwood as their Commissioner.

After only one term in office Mark has made his presence felt.  He was instrumental in bringing the Traveling Vietnam Wall to Longwood which allowed our Veterans the opportunity to remember and honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.  His extensive construction and real estate background has been invaluable in helping the City’s forward progress.  As a Longwood Small Business Owner Mark Weller understands the need for reasonable City Codes which has allowed new businesses to locate in Longwood.  I endorse Mark Weller for Longwood City Commission and encourage the Citizens of Longwood to re-elect him.
